This concept has quickly grown from in Sam's home to now having hosts all over Europe and the USA. This is just the beginning of what we're going to build.
We're looking for magnificent hosts all over the world to become a part of this experience because why should women feel like the only option to meet new women is by chance, swiping on an app or drunk in the club bathroom? (...where you say you will totally get brunch next weekend)
Being accepted as a host means becoming a part of & the Table and bringing this concept to your city. When accepted, you will learn how to format a night and get direct access to the team to help with everything in bringing the evening together.
We've not been shy to say that this match needs to go both ways because every new host embodies the & the Table experience that started in Amsterdam, just with their small personal touches.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A HOST?
You're an ambitious woman with a leading spirit ready to connect women at your dinner table.
Unique Style & a Beautiful Hosting Area - There's not one type of woman or style I'm looking for but I am looking for it to be well crafted and a room that is put together magnificently. This is a must. For visual reference, this board is the level of what we expect. Super important is that you must have a dining table that fits either 4, 5 or 6.
Conversation Starter & Question Master - You are engaging, outgoing, a good listening and in-depth conversation flows naturally for you. You are the friend that keeps talking through any silent pauses or shifts in conversation. Nothing makes you feel awkward. You're focused on ensuring everyone has a nourishing evening and everyone can feel that energy.
Acceptance of every type of woman & individual walking through your door. & the Table is an inclusive safe space for any and all self-identifying women of all sexual orientations, cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Anyone that identifies as non-binary, agender or gender non-conforming are welcome at the table. we expect our hosts and guests to hold the same values and we do not tolerate less.
A Love for Hosting - But also cooking and greeting new women in your home each month.
Four to Six Times a Year - Coming on as a host in this phase, we ask at a minimum you host 4-6x times a year. In a new city, this would be 7+ times a year.
Location - This can be anywhere in the world, there are no limitations for where an & the Table host can come from. This can change per dinner as long as it's an intimate space for the women to connect.
New Cities: Please note, if you are the first host in a new city, we are extremely focused on you embodying all the above points. You're the best of the best. You set the stage for the following hosts so we're looking for the best of the best. Additionally, the minimum amount of tables is 7x a year.

2. THE PRICE
We'll make this part short and sweet. Think of us like Airbnb meets Soho House - but just as a magnificent dinner platform. You set your price and you keep that. We add a fee on top of that and the combination of those is the ticket price.

3. & THE TABLE WOMEN
& the Table is growing fast and with that women all over the world are starting to bridge that this concept means you're going to meet immaculate women each and every dinner no matter where you are.
Not only does this mean women coming to you, but by being an official host, you get to use the & the Table name to reach out to the women in your community that you may not know just yet but want to bring them together for a dinner for you know in your core, it's going to be a genuine connection.

4. & THE TABLE INSIDER
When you're accepted, not only do you get to connect with all the other hosts but you get the full & the Table welcome kit which flows through an evening as an expert host, tips on how to keep on the conversation while cooking/prepping & work directly with you in figuring out your theme for your table. Additionally, on the Platform, there is the Insider Resource which currently will have inspiration & talking points.
Past what's on the platform, there are host dinners and meet up's yearly!

WHO CAN APPLY TO BE AN OFFICIAL HOST?
If you've read the description above of what we're looking for and you believe you're a fit then you can apply. We're looking for hosts all over the world! We will stress that your hosting space should be crafted magnificently.
CAN I APPLY IF I AM ALREADY A PART OF (OR HOST) A SUPPER CLUB?
Yes! Listen, we get it, supper clubs are everywhere and there are some damn incredible ones. We consider ourselves a bit different from that so hosting both is all okay. Just make sure we're aware of it in your application.
CAN ANY STRANGER COME INTO MY HOME?
No! Definitely not. With the platform, you completely control who you welcome into your home. You being comfortable is the #1 priority - Remember, it's still your home! Once accepted & you put up a table, you get to read the answers and see the socials of all the women who request a seat at your table, from there YOU get to curate the women at the table.
DO I NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL CHEF?
No! But you do have to have a love for cooking & an eye for plating food. Some of our business business women get their evenings catered & that is okay (They outline it in their menu) and if that's you, you must outline this in our application.
DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT HOLDING CONVERSATIONS?
Yes! This is a must. You must be good at holding and keeping up conversations between the women. Through all the awkward pauses and emotions that arise, you need to be the one making everyone feel at ease and keep the conversation flowing.
DO I NEED TO HAVE A WELL-CRAFTED SPACE?
Yes! This is a must. The space you host in must be well put together and have a unique feel. You will see what we expect from the Pinterest board above.
IF I APPLY, WHEN DO I HEAR FROM YOU ALL?
As of July 15, we have 80 accepted official hosts all over the world. We've had a little over 500+ applicants and this continues to grow. If we feel like you're a fit, you will hear from us for a follow-up call. Please note, this can sometimes take 4-6x weeks given how we're growing in a city, regulations, holiday time, and everything in between (we're s super small team over here!). You will hear from us if it's not a fit, but if we're waiting for the puzzle pieces to fit, it just may take a little time. Please know that when you apply!
